Ethan Aronson joins UNMAM as Manager of Visitor Experience

We are excited to welcome the newest addition to our team, Ethan Aronson. Ethan joined UNMAM in late November as the Manager of Visitor Experience.

Ethan has been a member of the UNM museum community for over two years and moved to UNMAM after serving as the Store Manager of the Maxwell Museum of Anthropology. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Museum Studies at the University of New Mexico.

As the Manager of Visitor Experience, Ethan serves as a knowledgeable and welcoming representative of the museum, while leading the Museum Assistant team in the daily operations. Ethan brings over nine years of museum and visitor services experience to this role, having previously worked at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History and Casa San Ysidro: The Gutierrez/Minge House. He also co-founded and served as Director of Guest Experience for Modern Albuquerque LLC.

“Museums are incredible vehicles for people to expand their knowledge and get creative inspiration,” said Ethan. “I’m looking forward to creating opportunities for the museum’s student employees and visitors to have positive and memorable experiences here, and I’m excited to join such a great team at the UNM Art Museum.”

“We are very excited to welcome Ethan to the UNM Art Museum,” said Devin E. Geraci, Associate Director of Operations. “With his expertise in visitor services, he will be integral to creating an impactful visitor experience at the museum while empowering our student employees to be an active part of the museum’s operations.”
