Please join us for ARTE VOZ, a workshop led by artist Muriel Hasbun. Using art produced during El Salvador’s civil war and its aftermath, ARTE VOZ provides a framework for cultural understanding, dialogue, and education. After an initial presentation, participants will relate to a work of Central American art by connecting it with a personal memory. They will speak their own story as others listen, creating a collective memory in the shared space. These voices will take on a new meaning after the workshop, when they are added to a larger transnational narrative through the Laberinto Projects archive.
Limited to 15 participants; registration required. Click here to register.
