Join us for a conversation with former Curator of Education Traci Quinn and artists León de La Rosa-Carrillo (Art Department at Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez) and Bianca Castiellro (Mexico City) as they share their perspectives on re-imagining educational initiatives through an artist residency at the UNM Art Museum.
The second talk in The Remix Room at UNM Art Museum Series will feature artist in residence León De la Rosa-Carrillo and collaborating UNM faculty. This presentation will focus on reimagining the artist residency classroom collaborations during quarantine to COVID-19.
Participants are invited to slow down, look closely, and experience works of art in a whole new way. Professor Justine M. Andrews will lead a series of guided exercises to help you meditate featuring works of art selected from the UNM Art Museum’s collection. Please RSVP with hkline@unm.edu.
